Nuclear Medicine Technology - Admission Criteria A candidate for admission must have a high degree of self motivation and the ability to accept the responsibilities of a skilled member of the Nuclear Medicine the Diagnostic Imaging team. The candidate has two options for meeting the admission requirements: Radiologic Technology or Associates Degree with Allied Health Education. Radiologic Technology Option Registered by the ARRT or registry eligible. Registry eligible candidates are required to pass the ARRT examination no later than 90 days after begining the Nuclear Medicine Technology program. A minimum grade point average of 3.0 in the radiography program is preferred. All applicants must be graduates of an accredited radiologic technology program. Other Allied Health Education Associate Degree from an accredited college Successful completion of an Allied Health Program. A minimum grade point average of 3.0 in previous educational programs is preferred. All applicants need to successfully complete the following post secondary education courses with a grade C or better; Human Anatomy and Physiology, Physics, Mathematics, Medical Terminology, Statistics, Computer Applications, Oral and Written Communications and General Chemistry.
