Message From The President

Welcome to Central Maine Medical Center College of Nursing and Health Professions

Thank you for visiting our website and considering Central Maine Medical Center College of Nursing and Health Professions academic options in your pursuit for education. Education remains one of the best investments anyone can make in today’s economy.

Our vision is “To develop leaders in nursing and healthcare whose actions, discoveries, and voices strengthen and transform the health of individuals and communities.” We are deeply committed to an education that can best be described as “affordable excellence.” We have an accessible faculty dedicated to teaching, a commitment to a liberal arts core, and an educational model that encourages critical thinking and excellence. Our small size enables us to provide our students with personal attention.

The College’s rich tradition of providing excellence in nursing education dates back to 1891 and I am pleased to announce the addition of the Radiologic Technology Program to our College for fall 2010.

Your experience at Central Maine Medical Center College of Nursing and Health Professions will be one of growth, change and opportunity – the opportunity to learn new things, meet new people, and exchange ideas. Many people will be there to guide you along the way. Faculty will inform and challenge you. Staff and administration will assist you. Fellow students will inspire you.

We are proud of our students and their deep commitment to completing their undergraduate education and improving the world in which we live. I hope you, too, will want to be a part of our community, and I look forward to welcoming you on campus.

A gem of a college awaits you!
